Post subject: Bird Flu.
Ah, the bird flu has been on the news forever, and it doesn't want to take off.
What do you think, is this a way to deviate attention from other important matters*ahem* Iraq War?
I recently heard that Bush in a meeting said that he would only take Bird Flu questions and no National policy questions or anything else....is he avoiding the real questions?

We've had the same thing over here in the UK.
One minute you are going to die of it, next thing ... silence.
I did track the original '20 MILLION COULD DIE,' statement back to an article in The Smithsonian.
Can't remember the name of the author, but it did seem to me that he wasn't very enquiring when interviewing Webster, who is the guy that started the whole thing off.
The interviewer actually described himself as a 'recovering hypochondriac,' I sort of stopped reading it as an objective piece of journalism after that!
