In 2006, I watched liberalism nose dive to a new level of ignorance by blaming George Bush for the world price of crude oil. Because the price of a barrel of crude more than doubled in a single year, the libs said it was Bush's fault.

Does this now mean that liberal-land is going to give Bush credit for the recent drop in world oil prices over the last few months???

I'd love to hear from any liberal his/her theory on how a sitting U.S. president has any control over world market prices for oil?! I'd love to hear how a sitting U.S. president could tell the 13-nation cartel(OPEC), which produces most of the world' oil, anything since most of the members of that cartel hate our guts.

Since ignorant liberals stupidly believe that a U.S. president can somehow control world market prices for oil, liberals must also be extremely upset with liberal Jimmy Carter since he was the first president to allow this country to experience actual fuel shortages, acutal fuel rationing and a doubling in fuel prices on the world market.

Neither a democrat president nor a republican president can do a damn thing about the world pricing of oil.

Well...gas prices in the Washington DC Metro area have gone up some 40 to 50 cents per gallon.

I guess this is somehow Geroge Bush's fault, right liberals? How about explaining to me how Geroge Bush has caused this recent increase in gas prices at the pumps.

Most of our oil is imported from Mexico, Canada & Venezula. Saudi Arabia is but one of 13 Opec members and has NO controlling influence over what the other members do...it's a cartel where each member has ONE vote.

Better read a newpaper once in awhile. Saudi Arbia has been blasting the U.S. and its prescence in Iraq and its support for the embargo against Palestine. The Saudis sell their oil to make money. It is their only real source of wealth and revenue. They sell it on the world market at world market prices. George Bush(nor any other sitting president) has any power or influence over what the world is willing to pay for a barrel of oil.

Now...if the Saudis were selling oil to us below market prices then you MIGHT have a point...that ain't happening!!!

That's true, he can't control it or do anything to manipulate oil prices.
But libs have to complain and blame all their trubles on someone. Who better than the leader of their own country?

You are not only stupid and ignorant you are extremely NAIVE!
Bush is responsible for so many ills in this country and the world, it's hard to find a place to begin and very hard to wonder where it will end! Bush caused oil prices to go beyond reason and just because oil prices took a little dip, they will go way up and Bush is responsible for that!
