Absolutely! My son loves to hang out with me on Sunday mornings after church to veg out on a couple hours of Food Network. We talk about the chefs, the food and what we would like to try and make.

the trick is to raise kids who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and do a bit of hard work... so you have toflip burgers to get that fancy ipod or pay for your new car - get used to it!
