Do you think Illegal Immigrants pay their taxes?

I'm also bothered by this issue. My husband works in the government, His pay is real okay but our taxes are not. I'm just wondering if Illegal Aliens pays their taxes? Since they do not have the legal documentation how can they even pay tax? I need relevant opinions.

It depends on how they are paid, I would imagine. There are many Americans who get paid cash who don't declare the taxes that they should (look at waitrons for example).

Illegal migrants don't have legal papers to help them find a good paying job. And, if this is the case, I don't see the point of working and then paying all of your money to taxes so I don't think they really pay unless they are earning well.

I live in an area where immigrants tend to migrate since i am near a larger city and what sickens me is you will go to the er to get health care for your child and they all have medicaid, this is so unfair we have rising health costs in this country and we are offering to take care of immigrants from another country something really needs to be done about this.

Our golf company will only employ immigrants with "legal" documents. Therefore, all taxes are deducted with each paycheck. No surprise to anyone that few file tax returns.....

Most of them are not paying any taxes. Their work is paid so cheap so that...forgive them guys. Smile

Who cares if they pay taxes...screw'em...the cost far more than the few tax dollars they might be paying. If they get their illegal asses back on the other side of the border they won't be paying any american taxes....

Making Mexicans pay taxes is racist and bigoted, only a really hardcore republican blowhard would make people on slightly more than minimum wage pay taxes. Just because there skin is diffrent dosent make it ok to be unfair towards that group!

Illigals pay a number of taxes no matter how they are paid. They pay sales taxes and all of the heap of excise taxes that the government has levied against our citizens. There are cases of people finding out that some illegal has been paying SS taxes on their number for years. If an illegal or any one else pays on your number you get the benefit by getting more benefits when you retire – to a point.

I’m all for immigration reform and letting our Mexican neighbors come here to work but we have to get control of the movement of the horde that comes and goes across our borders. It would be simple enough to identify most of the illegals in this country if we offered them a “Pink Card” The “Pink Card” would identify them as Mexican nationals, give them the right to work with limited benefits: no voting or chance at citizenship in their life, their children would be able to live and go to school in the US but would have to earn citizenship, free passage back and forth to Mexico, Bank account, driver’s license once they finished free and mandatory English lessons, legal protection from abusive work requirement practices, No SS taxes because they don’t get any benefit from SS, no food stamps of any other welfare benefits should they start a family in this country, an American that marries an illegal gives up his or her piece of the welfare pie, - - what the illegal would get is a safer work environment, freedom to travel back and forth, better life styles, etc.
We could keep the “Green Card” system for people looking for a path to citizenship.

Not important if they pay taxes! They have invade our country illegally and the law says the federal government is to round them up and deport their sorry azzess enmass.

That is the only issue! taxes, jobs, crime, etc are secondary at best. These people are invaders and should be treated as invaders. Those who support these illegal bastards should also be rounded up and charged with aiding felons and criminals.
