(1) Since geological science shows that the earth has been in the throws of global warming and global cooling cycles for millions of years, WHY is today's six tenths(.6) of a degree increase over the last 150 years all the sudden the fault of mankind???

(2) Did notable men of science write about and record global warming & global cooling during their lifetimes more than 2000 years ago?

(3) This planet experienced a mini-ice age just some 450 years ago that killed millions across most of europe. a. true b. false

(4) The earth and its weather patterns produce roughly the same amount of rainfall each year. a. True b. False

Regardless of if you believe that global warming is indeed caused by humans - what is the downside of taking steps to curtail our use of fossil fuels?? I cannot believe that so many are against something just because others are for it. You don't know any more about this topic that anyone else that does believe in it - you simply want to take the neo-con point of view because that is your political agenda.

Spoken like a truel lib!! The downside is that science is NOT WITH YOU. I notice that you weren't even capable of anwering any one of the four simple questions I presented above. Yet, here you are jackin' your jaw about something you obviously no absolutely nothing about!!!

Before you, Gore and all the tax-fed junk scientists go around telling a nation of 300 million people that they must take a series of expensive, costly steps to re-arrange their lives and that this process will cost millions of them their jobs, you had better have more than a goddamn THEORY backing you up. If you & Gore are gonna claim that man has caused this particular episode of global warming and that a pissant "six tenths" of a degree increase over the last 150 years now, all of the sudden, constitutes man-made global warming, you'd better be able to prove it's man fault...there is NO science that proves this!!!

When sicence fact shows there's been no increase in overall global temperatures for the last 12 years then people need to take a serious review of the current global warming theory about C02.. When only two percent of greenhouse gases is C02 and you have a sizable part of the science community clinging to their wild-ass claim that part of this two percent is causing all our problems someone needs to point out that C02 was much higher just a 1000 years ago when the world's population was much smaller and fossil fuel use was virtually non-existant.

Because you libs are so hell bent on destroying capitalism and the free market systems, you've jumped on this junk science like a fly jumps sh*t hoping to FORCE reduced fossil fuel usage on the U.S. which will bring havoc on our economic systems....this is your way to stab america in the heart....and yes....we really hate your kind.

WRONG!! My points are not just my "opinion." All my points are current, provable science and I have provided repeated links citing legitimate research by world-renown sources. When you have the leaders, the icons,
in atmosphseric/geological sciences calling the current global warming theory junk science, then you do NOT have a genuine consensus about global warming and the debate is sure as hell NOT over.

Currently, the global warming theory(man-made C02) is failing...temperatures in the antartic have been dropping for 30 years, each year...ice flows are expanding. There has been no increase in global temperatures for more than 12 years. All historical records show that periods of earlier global warming were good for mankind, more food, less disease, etc..

Finally, there IS NOT a computer model in existence today that can correctly predict one week's of weather accurately. How in the hell can anyone in their right fricken mind believe that these same computer models or similar computer models can accurately predict EVEN one year's worth of weather correctly. For example, this nation's weather service warned all of us that the 2006 hurricane season was going to be really bad with many large storms...never happened....they totally blew the 2006 hurricane forecast.

But, idiots like you, will believe that these same people with their same science and their same resources can somehow, miraculously, predict what our weather will be 50 years or 100 years from now....you people are nuts!!! Our weather service with its current technology does good if it gets a lousy 72-hour weather forecast right.

Why not adopt the precautionary principal. Even if you don't believe global warming is our fault, why not cut carbon emissions etc. [i]just in case[/i]. It will do no harm and may do some good.
