I use feed readers everyday to get my news and keep updated online but have noticed that many people don't have any idea of what feed readers are.

How do you get your news, do you spend time visiting your favorite news websites, read them on your cell phone or PDA or just watch TV?

I usually get my news from NPR, or from reading news sites. Typically, I hear about most news from the forums I participate in!

It's actually kind of neat. My main forum has so many users that I typically will see a new post about a news event before I hear about it otherwise. On 9/11, we were getting posts from users reporting what local news was covering all over the world -- Europe, the Middle East, Asia... very interesting.
