Post subject: How To Solve The Iranian Kidnapping of Brit Troops
First...let me point out that as a result of Iranian lawlessness in kidnapping 15 British service people in Iraqi waters, the price of crude oil has gone up over a dollar per barrel in just three days.
You can thank the islamic thugs running Iran for the next 25 cent increase per gallon you pay at the pumps!!!
The solution to this crisis is very, very simple. It does not involve liberal jaw jackin'...it does not involve the infestation known as the United Nations...it does not involve the black racists, Jesse Jackson or Lou Farhakan, making trips to Iran to gain the release of those British hostages....it does not involve the democrat-controlled congress trying to unconstitutionally run our foreign policy or the foreign policy of Britian.
It involves ACTION!!! Not talking about invading armies or massive bombing campaigns, etc. All the Brits(with U.S. help) have to is capture Kharg Island in the Gulf. That island is Iran's principal OIL exporting depot. By doing this, we would could immediatley shut off the only major source of revenue for the nation of Iran. We would effectively kill their entire economy in matter of days without dropping a single bomd on any Iranian city or engaging in any major military slugfest on the Iranian mainland.
Any bets on how quickly Iran would release those 15 Britians? I'd say in less than a week, all 15 Britians would be back on their ship.

If that doesnt work we coudl block all imports to their nation from the seas, and destroy their only refinary in their country. Effectively turning them to the dark ages in a matter of weeks, if not days. Again a stratigic strike with minimal loss of life and risk to us. Personally I believe the Iranians are looking to pick a fight, hence the nukes they seek and their actions in attacking our troops in Iraq.

You bet...and I am sure that very tactic is being seriously considered by our folks in the Pentagon and the Brits.

I agree completely! The only reason a piss-ant country like Iran would directly engage two nuke powers like the Brits & U.S. is that they see a serious advantage to their favor. With the lib-democrats controlling congress and trying to screw over our troops and this president, iran has now been emoldened to take daring chances knowing that the democrats control the war purse. Just another example of how much our enemies depend on the U.S. democrat party to help them screw the U.S....Iranians now have the political advanrtage.
Secondly, a military engagement against the West at this time would elicit major sympathy for Iran from mideast nations that are currently our allies. The Iranians know that they would lose the battle against us but, in the end, win the war and their goal of fomentng an region-wide islamic revolution. Don't forget...iran is the only islamic theocracy in the world right now...misery loves company.
