Communication on 9/11

I have watched many things about the 9/11 attacks and can not believe the amount of miscommunication that occured. I just wonder if things would have been different if some of those people would have had their sh*t together?

Isn't it true that as the people were told to evacuate the second tower, they were told to go back inside?

I found this amazing, because at the time, the whole world knew that planes were going AWOL and didn't know where they were going to come down.

I wouldn't like to be the person who made that particular announcement.

I think that there were a lot of tough decisions and errors that were made during the 9/11 events. It is a shame that with all of the technology that we have that we were still unable to reduce the amount of life that was lost.

the problem is that a lot of these systems were built up over time and not connected together - remember, in NYC they're dealing with centuries of neglect in every area! It just magnified the problem on 9/11...

Do you mean the communications systems?

I heard that the towers were one of the quickest building projects due to the construction.
