Since we alluded to her on another thread, we might as well make a new thread on this topic. I'm not a conspiracy theorist , but this is should make interesting discussions.

Here's a website that seems to have some interesting facts and points.

She died in a car car. When a famous person like herself dies, there's alway someone that claims it's a conspiracy.

I suppose you could take the opposite viewpoint, Nogard and say that when aren't these things conspiracies?

Is it an accident every time a famous person dies in an accident?

Yes it is, but why does someone have to claim there's a conspiracy when some one famous dies.

Could be a psychological thing. I can imagine it helps our well-being if we were told that planned actions are the causes of death, as opposed to random acts. If random acts were the culprits, it would make people edgy about life. In other words, we can die any moment with no reason.

On the other hand, you can't entirely dismiss anomolies with events leading to someone's death. If there's something that is consistently odd, then it may be worth it to investigate. Then again, you may be able to find anomolies on every accident.

Again, I'm not taking a side here and I'm no hard core conspiracy theorist. I grant some theories a benefit of the doubt because there's no way we can be 100% skeptics.

Yep, I think you make a good point about people not wanting to see their own mortality.

And, probably due to the media tendency to hype everything up, we have developed the conspiracy theory theme. Nope, I do not believe Elvis is alive and well somewhere in Greenland.

But, as you say some things are worthy of further investigation. The one consistent aspect of Diana's death, that nobody actually seems to refute, is the fact that a red car fled the scene. I think all parties are in agreement on this one, but they have never been able to locate it.

Perhaps it holds the answer but I guess we'll never know now.
