Canada has the socialized health system that Americans envy... until I pointout that we're paying 20% tax to support the bloated monster!

it may be "free", but you wait in line for months for life-saving treatment - and if you're in a rural area, might as well give up - my sister coulnd't find a gyne for her second pregnancy and had to work thorugh the local emerg department!

Thumper, our taxes START at 20%!!!!

Well, actually I'm exagerrating a little because they let you earn ?1k paying 10%, then it goes to just over 20%. The top rate is 40% - but I can't give exact details because I will never earn enough to get into that tax bracket Crying or Very sad
