I was reading this morning that economy added 215,000 jobs in the month of November. That is some wonderful news for once. Now if we can just get New Orleans back on its feet we will be in good shape.

Thats always good news to hear. I hope these new jobs are for the lower middle class because they are the economic backbone of are country. Are we still considered to be in a recession?

I suppose that this is a sign that the economy is coming around and there are finalyl jobs open! Smile I think it's a great thing especially after all the controversy that the jobs are getting less and less. At least Bush did one thing right, well too little too late

I don't beleive it. I know of 5 people in the last week alone that have been laid off. Companies moving, outsourcing, or just plain budget cuts.

We're now back to pre-911 job numbers. The question is: Will we get back to the pre-2000 numbers.

CEO's surveyed believed that they will be generating more jobs in the coming year. So, we may see high employment again.

The problem with the job counts, though, is that they don't account for quality jobs. If WalMart adds staff, those are technically jobs but they pay crap and offer little/no benefits of use to a family.

In our country, we are struggling to solve our unemployment problem. In November it is reported that almost 5 million are unemployed. How can I say that the state is rising? I don?t think so. I talk the land of Germany.

That is exactly the problem with post-modern socialism. Because of governmental restrictions on corporations, the resources to hire someone becomes painfully high. Hence, corporations could only hire a few.

You are definitely right. We just hope that these problems will lower down, not even more higher and higher..
