Post subject: Networks fighting FCC over Indecent Content fines
Fox brought suit against the FCC, followed by CBS & NBC stating basically that they've been abusing their power by unfairly distributing how harshly they are fine shows which contain indecent language when airing live broadcasts. It's an interesting sort of side-road into the whole censorship issue.
Anyone have thoughts on this? I remember in the early 90's, radio stations had to stop certain types of activity which involved calling people and putting them on the air without them knowing it.
