I'm pretty sure that NASA had a page that disproved most of those theories. The one with the wind and the flag for example, is simple. NASA created a special pole for the flag that made the flag tilt as if it were waving.

Hey i see some good points on there, but i'm sure they can all be explained very easily. This isn't the first time i have heard this, but come on you know we have landed on the moon. If we can drop a nuclear bomb we can easily goto the moon.

Wow, I have never seen this but have heard of it. Being a graphic designer and photo manipulater, those facts seem interesting to me because of the properties of shadows etc on each of the images. Surely the Government could not have made that big of a mistake if silly people like us can spot them out, don't you think?

I will even take a different point of view. The picture could very well be real because its outer space. You all kinds of objects relecting light, so it could very easliy make shadows in different directions.

I got to know about this long back. I saw a documentary about this issue in star world. If they would have really reached moon I defiantly think that NASA would have sued Star TV guys.

It's not photochopped. That picture is real and is on the posters of many space agencies. The question that the article didn't answer was why we would do such a thing. Around that time, all the major countries, especially Russia was racing to land on the moon. And we wanted to be the first ones. But why? what have we accomplished by getting there first? Why would they fake such a big thing just to prove that they are the best? Rolling Eyes

Ok I can see your point of a conspiracy. But I will still say we got to the moon. And out of curiousty where is the conspiracy on Russia's landing haven't heard any theories, facts or pictures on their moon landing. You would think people would try and dispell all rumors of any landings. And wouldn't one think if the theory is true. That possibly we would have landed on the moon since 1969.

I remember reading someone's theory that the moon landing occured in a TV studio. The question regarding this whole moon landing conspiracy theory is why did the USA go to the trouble of putting all these guys in a REAL rocket and LAUNCH the rocket into space in front of all those witness at the site of the launch just so the rocket could go up and down without landing on the moon? And what on earth did the US have to gain by faking a moon landing?

It's a very debatable topic indeed. In 1969 Keneedy really needed to show that the American way of life could defeat communism and getting to the Moon first was very particular race that would influence all over the world.

I don't know. After seeing all the things that were created about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and using the 9/11 theme to go to war I don't trust much in the US government.

Digital Portraits, if silly people like us can spot this out could be because we are living in a different era, we know about Photoshop and we have access to much more information than in 1969, at that time people just had TV and newspapers, they trusted the government and russians were the "bad guys".

Why did the US never sent more people, successfully, to the Moon? It's been more than thirty years and there are not a Moon base or something like that. Many sci fi books portray humans living in the Moon and colonizing space from there. Why don't we have that yet? Wouldn't it be a logical step in space exploration?

Has any telescope, maybe in a space ship, took current shots of the place in the Moon where the Eagle landed?

It is easy to use photoshop to fake photos. It is obvious that we landed on the moon. I don't see hoards of astronauts making money with tell all books. The White House can't keep anything secret for long.
