Just last month people living in Albay (Philippines) experienced a very alarming mudflow due to typhoon. Many people died in this calamity. Until now many environmentalist doing some research to find out what would be the major cause of mudflow in that place. I think one of these is the absence of trees in that area. What do you think?

Wasn't it caused by the volcano. I believe that illegal logging is one major cause of flooding and mudflow. This happened in Laguna beach Ca Last year if I'm not mistaken.
