Bartenders Replaced by Robots? Robotics Company Markets Robot Bartender That Doesn't Take Bathroom Breaks. It's happened to auto factory workers, assembly line workers, even vacuum cleaners and now it could be happening to bartenders ? replaced by robots. Well thnk god i want have to tip the bartender any more. Razz

Umm robots will be way to expensive to maintain and buy for some small companies. Even if robots come out next year, their price tags will be around that of a cars Im guessing. No one is wanting to be put in that big of an investment.
It's a nice innovative idea though! We just need superhumans soon...

Oh boy, I am not looking forward to this at all. I mean people are slow enough but now I am going to have to deal with a robot that can only do one thing at once. I think I'll pass on the bars once this happens.

It all depends on how customers react. Just think, people hate calling a number and dealing with a computer automated system. How will they like this when they're drinking? Surprised

Wow I am just afraid if time comes that all establishment will be automated by a robot. I'm sure unemployment will be increasing. Hope this will not happen.

That would be a great idea. Perhaps if that would happen, college institution will difenitely offer a robotic based courses.
