Lately I have been watching the History channel and their has been alot of shows about Hitler. It is very interesting to learn about Hitler's life and death. To me it shows us how powerful peoples ideas can be. Your ideas and thoughts can greatly shape the way the world is in postive or negative way.

Hilter was an interesting person to say the least. I think he would have been a great leader except for his ideas of hate and racism. It amazes me also how he got people to buy into his ideas.

The thing that amazes me is that his ideas weren't new that the german people already had alot of anti-semitism and he just fed on that.

what i think about hitler is that , he was a true patriot . he worked for his country . the only problem with him was that he was too unhuman. in course of his regime, he didnot any kind of unpatriotic work against germany that made him unpopular

I sometimes wonder, what if by any change of fate, Hitler might have won the WWII. what changes would have taken place in the world. Would Germany went ton to become a SuperPower...

Personally, it amazes me that Germany DIDN'T win WWII. The german military machine was incredible to say the least.

Well they had the weapons but they were outnumbered. U.S and G.B are themselves huge nations. They did not stand a chance. Especially after the atomic bombing

He might have won if he didn't try to invade Russia. He was battling on to many fronts. I doubt he would have taken over the world, but he might have acclompished taken over Europe.

As they say Hitler was a great Orator and speaker. He was very motivational during his reign. I feel blessed though not being born during his era.

There are many people today, in America, who are just as blind as Nazis. Every time I hear someone say "we should nuke Iraq and just kill them all", I am sickened.

I think not all people in Iraq involve in crimes. The other civilians in Iraq are also victims of terrorism and wars. In addition, Hitler was a good leader of his country but he have weakness too.

Yes...Hitler's mistake was opening the Russian front. If he had not done that, the D-Day invasion would have had a very different outcome...but...Hitler hated communists more than he hated the West.

His aeronautical and mechanical engineers were light years ahead of anything the West had...first jet flight, first combat jets and our M60 machine gun of today is a virtual carbon copy of Hitler's 55-yearold MG 72 machine...has the identical receiver. The plans for our B2 bomber flying wing came from Hitler's own flying wing project in WWII.

All Hitler had to do to win and keep control of most of Eastern europe was disengage the Brits, which would have caused the U.S. to disengage, and not attack Russia right away. Hitler could have killed all the communist he wanted(with our blessings) if he had just left Britian alone...no one gave to sh*ts about the stupid French...they deserved their defeat. In fact, General Patton openly supported Hitler's effort to kill the communist. Turned out that both Hitler and Patton were right and understood who the real enemy was...communism!
