Sorry, didnt find any other section where this fits but I want to say something about the site layout.
Just an opinion though,
On the main page, left side is just a pic for "Liberal of the day" and a search box and all empty downwards and that eats away the space which might have been used by the main section - the topic listing.

If the positioning is changed, maybe it will loook better, just my 2 cents.

I totally agree. The forums are still in desgin and I was surprised when i cam in this morning and looked and saw posts. OMG!

It pretty much shows the need for this forum. Sean Hannity has the only liberal forums on the net.

let me keep designing her, and ideas would be appreciated.

I agree also it would flow a lot better and match the other views. If you check phpbb's website they have a database full of different templates. You may find one that may work better. They are a cinch to install. Its pretty much an upload and a change in the config.

We'll probably get someone to skin it within the next week, then start making modification from there. I was playing around when I designed this layout, and didn't anticipate any traffic for a few more days.

One problem that you may not be seeing is on smaller resolutions what happens is that the actual box starts shrinking meaning that it gets too narrow. You may want to fix that and take a look at it.
