I really am perplexed at certain subjects still beig stressed in schools. Do we really need some of the esoteric subjects that are still taught?

What types of subjects are you talking about, MHJ? There is certainly something to be said for creating well-rounded young men and women, which is helped by teaching them a variety of topics.

I think we should teach it in public schools, hopefully it is something we will see down the road in the mean time I am taking on that responsibility myself for my children, teaching them the value of money can be taught from a very early age with allowance.
