Is the sexual predator law doing any good?

You read about kids being molested or sexual assaulted and killed all the time. Should we keep these pedophiles in prison longer? I think we should keep them in prison longer.

We should not only keep them in prison longer, but also castrate them crimes against children are unthinkable and should not be tolerated and we as a legal system need tougher laws so a predator will think twice about committing this kind of crime.
