I think it is crazy we need to take care of our own here in the United States first we need to reduce the poor and homeless rates before we worry about bringing others in to do our jobs, i understand there minimum wage jobs but there are homeless people in shelters that could use these jobs that are American citizens and they deserve these jobs first.

Many people are dependent on them depending what part of the country you are talking about. And they don't stay, which means they come and go which creates chaos to some extent, but the temporary work permit is good since it'll make them pay tax and give them some privileges. Since it won't give them a permanent status before they meet certain requirements they are still subject to leave the country. That's one tough problem the government has to sort out, because no one knows what the priority is. They can open an office in Mexico that recruits those who want to come and work here and will go back when the permit expires and those who want to stay here could be allowed if they meet certain condition, because they are after the jobs mostly.
