Top, leading scientists in their fields have ripped Al Gore's "Unconvienent Truth" as being utter crap and nonsense.

It's strange how the icons and leaders in the field of climate research are totally ignored by the lib media when these people publicly denounce global warming and that idiot Al Gore.

Richard Lindzen, who headed up the Nat'l Academy of Sciences June 6, 2006 report on climate change and is considered America's leading climatologist, effectively called CNN's Michelle Mitchell a liar for falsely reporting that this "report" said mankind is the cause of global warming.

The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee issued a public statement denouncing Al Gore's documentary.

Professor Paul Reiter of the Pasteur Institute described Al Gore's movie "as pure mind-bending propaganda.

Professor Bob Carter, leading Marine Geophyiscist at James Cook University of Australia, said "Gore's circumstantial arguments are so weak they are pathetic." Check the following link for a quick look at Professor Carter's views on global warming:

The distinguished climatologist, Professor Timothy Ball of Canada, who has more than 30 years in the field blasts today's global warming theory as pure junk science...see the following link:

Max Mayfiled, Director of the National Hurricane Center in Miami and iventor of some of the first computer climate models, said that global warming had absolutely nothing to with Katrina or a busy hurricane season. He said busy hurricane seasons come and go on a 30 to 40 year cycle and all climatologists know this.

What do all these scientists have in common...they are all distinguished leaders in the field of climatolgoy, each has 25 to 30 years of experience and the liberal mainstream media aviods them like a plague. The scientists who disagree with today's global warming theory are the leaders and icons of the science involved. It is mediocre and unknowns in the field who are supporting global warming junk science.

Now...let's see what Americans have to say about Al Gore and his idiot movie. Most recent polling on this issue was done by Pew Research Center last month. Out of a list of 23 policy priorities, Americans ranked global warming third from the bottom of that list. Only 18% of the respondents said they had a concern about global warming.

Also, Al Gore's effort to spread his propaganda throughout our public schools system is meeting with resistence. Last December, the Nat'l Science Teachers Association refused to distribute 50,000 free copies of Al Gore movies to the classroom.

Meanwhile the lying lib media and the lying liberals keep telling everyone the debate is over on global warming....liberals are such liars.

They're canadian... I'm still with Gore on this one.

We're kind of past the point that scientists can say "Global warming doesn't exist". Every year with reduce the amount of plant matter and increase the amount of CO2 emmissions. There is no way you can blame this on anything but man.

I think just about hte only thing that ISN'T true from gore's movie is areas like florida and SE Asia being flooded by the melting of the icecaps on the north pole. That *may* be possible if the ice on antartica melted, but that just won't happen any time soon.

I don't see how the "countries" these renowned scientists are from has any bearing on their scientific credentials or their expertise in their fields or their years of experience, etc...that just doesn't make any sense in the world of science...makes no difference what country a scientist lives in. Well...you'd better check in with your global warming buddies because they are now having a hell of time with the fact that world climatic temperatures have been decreasing since 1998...a scientific fact! This is why we are now hearing the global warmers using their new term "climatic change". Using their new political term "climatic change" allows the global warmers to blame reduced temperatures or increased temperatures on mankind.

The only reason I can fathom that you or anyone else would dare say that we are past debating today's global warming theory is that you've bought into the media's claim that the debate is over. Scientific debates are not over because because the media or political advocacies declares a scientific consensus. Scientific debates are only over when the FACTS say they are over and that is definitely not the case here. Until your side can explain why this one degree in temperature is the fault of mankind when all the other previous measured global warmings(that had higher temperature swings) had nothing to do with mankind, your theory just can't work. In other words you cannot say that this one single instance of global warming is the fault of man where all the other instances of global warming had nothing to do with mankind. BTW....C02 is a natural gas that this planet has been releasing from its surface for millions of years long before man arrived on the scene. Bet you didn't know that most of the C02 released into our atmosphere does NOT come from man...a measured scientific fact.

We are in between ice ages right now. The oceans have been rising for the last 10,000 years and are still rising. This is a natural process that has nothing to do with man. That idiot Al Gore is making 100% false claims about mankind having anything to do with this natural melting process that occurs between ice ages. Furthermore, climatologists who have been studying the Antartic region(south pole) of this planet have been reporting global cooling there for the last 30 years. This fact does not fit today's global warming theory...another example of science punching a big hole in the global warmers.
Finally, mankind always prospers in global warming cycles...more crops, less disease, etc. It is global cooling that kills mankind by the millions and we have to look no further than the mini ice age of the 1600s to see how devasting that period was to mankind. Millions starved to death and died of starvation-related diseases...this period devasted most of Europe. There are no such examples of man dying or suffering during periods of global warming...mankind does quite well in the warmer climate.

Some more outright lies contained in the Gore global warming movie.

(1) The UN IPCC report just released this month that supports the possibility of man-made global warming states that sea levels could rise by 7 to 23 inches in the next 100 years. What does that idiot Gore say??? Sea levels will rise 20 FEET!!!!!!!!!!! Where is Gore's credibility???? Who the hell came up with the number 20 feet??? No one but that idiot Gore is making such an asinine claim!!!

(2) Gore blames the loss of the snow cap on Mount Kilimanjao in Africa on global warming. Problem with this nutty claim is that the temperatures at the top of the mountain have been FALLING, NOT RISIING!!!! AN UNDISPUTABLE FACT!!!! So...why have the snow caps been shrinking...loss of moisture due to the change in land use at the base of the mountain.

(3) One of the most blatant, in-your-face lies contained in that moron's movie are statements made about Greenland. The polar bear population IS NOT DECLINING AND THE ICE CAPS ARE THICKENING, NOT MELTING. Greenland scientists have blasted Gore for these outrageous claims...american media refuses to correct Gore's propaganda....

And the Union of Concerned Scientists issued a report in early January documenting ExxonMobil’s attempts to discredit global warming research and comparing it to earlier efforts by tobacco companies to persuade the public that there was no scientific evidence that cigarette smoking was harmful.

Actually, it is the global-warming junk scientists who live for the $take. Almost all of them are living off some form of gov't handout. These liars are paying their mortgages and buying cars with american tax dollars that are funneled to them only because they agree to do research that supports the popular global warming theory. Try getting a gov't $$grant or gov't $$funding for any global warming research that does not support today's lie.

The true leaders(the icons) in the fields of climatology/geology that I mentioned draw their salaries from Universities or recognized institutions like the Hurricaine Center in Miami.
Howver, it would make NO difference if these icons took money from any private sources if that's what it takes to get the truth out about the big gobal warming lie. As history has shown, it has NOT been gov't paid scientists who make the big discoveries or major findings...such scientific advancments almost always come from the private sector. If we had to depend on gov't scientists for serious advancements, we would be in a world of sh*t and probably a 100 years behiind in science.

But, if you're looking for large numbers of scientists who disagree with Gore's junk science, don't forget the 17,000 scientists, engineers, climatolgoists, geologists, etc who signed a petition denouncing the Kotoyo Treaty and it global warming crap as junk. Look it up!

Finally, it is beyond me why you libs insist on using liberal, leftist propaganda gurus as a source. Larry West, your source, is nothing but a mouthpiece for that idiot Al Gore. Even in his article he lies outright saying that the recent IPCC report has had full peer review. IT HAS NOT HAD FULL PEER REVIEW....that process is going on right now!!!! And, the UN IPCC DID NOT SAY mankind is causing global warming. It said that it IS LIKELY THAT MAN IS INFLUENCING GLOBAL WARMING. READ THE GODDAMN THING, I DID!!! There is nothing in that report that says man is causing global warming...the report makes it clear that man "might" be a factor!

Now...I've got one question for you and it doesn't require you to provide a source, quotes or do any kind of research. It's a question of logic. Here we go...since science has shown that earth's atmospheric temperatures have been heating and cooling for millions of years before/after man came on the scene and has been heating & coolng before man ever discovered fossil fuels & C02, why is this particular incidence of global warming (out of all the other global warmings) man's fault???? We've had higher levels of C02 in our atmosphere and higher levels of global warming before man arrived.

Once again, FACTS are your enemy Mr liberal. The very same UN IPCC report you and that idiot source of yours is quoting also gave the U.S. rave reviews for its reduced pollution numbers...so....how are WE destroying the environment? Here are the facts your lying buddy, Larry West, deliberately left out of his lying article:

(1) UN IPCC Feb 2, 2007 Climate Change Report found that the U.S. polluted much less than the 13 idiot european countries who stupidly signed on to the Koyoto Accord.

(2) The report said that our carbon emissions went down 8% from 2000 to 2004 as compared to 1995 to 2000.

(3) The report said that during the same time frame, the carbon emissions from those 13 idiot european countries who signed onto that junk science treaty was actually double the rate of the U.S.

Here again is just another example of the utter failure of buying into the man-made global warming lies and the C02 credit schemes that make up the Koyoto Treaty. How do you get up every morninig and go out blurting lie-after-lie without any remorse? Is there a point in any part of your day where you ask yourself....MAYBE I SHOULD GET UP OFF MY LAZY BUTT AND CHECK OUT SOME OF CRAP I'VE BEEN HEARING OTHERS SAY???
