This place is probably the only so-called "political web site" that doesn't have a single sentence posted about one of the most historical court decisions in the last 70 years concerning our 2nd amendment rights to own handguns.
Every newspaper and every electronic media outlet in the country has been covering this court decision for days and, yet, not a sound from any poster at this web site...just unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just incase any one of you are the least bit interested in your constitutional rights, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has reversed the 31 yearold handgun ban in Washington DC that was passed in 1976 preventing any DC resident from even owning a handgun or keeping a handgun at their residence.
Aside from the fact that this ruling reversed 31 years of liberal insanity against handguns, the real historic feature of this decision is that the judges ruled against the old liberal argument that claims the 2nd amendment guns rights pertain only to a "militia," not an individual. These judges ruled that 2nd amendment gun rights DO pertain to the individual citizen...a major defeat for liberals and gun control advocates.
Now...this historic decision will go before the U.S. Supreme Court where, once and for all, 2nd amendment gun rights for individuals will be settled. |

Actually...there were three judges...one liberal activist judge and two principled constitutional judges. It was two judges against one judge...guess which was which, ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha.
BTW...I've worked in Wash DC for the past 30 years and carried my .357mag everday in defiance of that insane liberal nonsense. Coming into DC everyday unarmed is asking for trouble. DC police officers have been quoted in our news papers as saying they would never bring their families into DC without being armed. Cops can't help you when you're standing on a subway platfrom at midnight and see three or four punks walking toward you with their hands in their pockets.
Remember...some conservatives were once liberals until they got mugged and lived to tell about it....I know a few. When was the last time you heard about a cop actually preventing a crime??? Cops show up after the shooting or after the mugging or after the rape...to clean up the mess and make a report. |

Hey big man...why don't you come stand on any subway platform in Washington DC at midnight...guarantee you you'll see REAL boggie men.
Washington DC has had the highest percapita murder rate in this country for years...even the liberal Washington Post calls this place the murder capital of the world.
As usual, however, you miss the point entirely. In this case, the entire topic of this thread zinged right by you...U.S. Court of Appeals decision. Doubt you even know what a U.S. Court of Appeals IS???!!
Owning and carrying a gun is a matter of law, as in our 2nd amendment right to do so. It doesn't take "your boggie man" crap for a U.S. citizen to want to own/carry a gun...all it takes is our 2nd amendment right...a right that stupid, insane DC liberals have illegally denied the DC residents, and a right that thankfully was restored to DC residents by these judges.
BTW...more than 30 states now have concealed carry laws allowing any law-abiding citizen to carry a handgun....you libs are losing the handgun battle. Just another example of how real america truly hates you guys.
All you libs have been doing for the past 40 years is trying to strip out every constitutional right that ensures our INDIVIDUAL freedoms for self-defense, rights protecting our economic freedoms and freedoms that ensure private property ownership rights against the mob rule of the liberal estate. America has had enough of your big-gov't bullying and your illegal tactics. |
