Hello:

I would just like to let everyone know that I have a petition currently In circulation and It will be ongoing Indefinitely so as to stop the seal hunt that goes on In Canada every year, so for all those people that would like to see the Canadian seal hunt end for good and to try and stop It from happening again next year please go ahead and stop by and sign my petition.

I thank everyone who signs every signature does count and hopefully together we can end this cruelty once and for all.

Agreed. I believe it is the most brutal disrespectful taking of animal life known to man. Not even the killing of the American buffalo during the 1800s can compare to the totally unecessary brutailty of this hunt and the fact that up to a million are killed each season.

The U.S., Greenland, Mexico and a number of other countries have complained for decades about this slaughter. The canadian people overwhelmingly want it stoped. The Canadian gov't is the only power that can stop it.

Also, if the friggin' europeans would stop providing a market for the baby seal pelts that would go along way toward stopping this hunt.

It is definitely about time that something was done to halt this annual slaughter. The killings are carried out in an unnecessarily cruel manner to produce a frivolous product, and there's really no justifying it.
