Hello all. I am a reformed liberal from my college days, now a staunch conservative.

I am a flag-waving American citizen who somehow landed in the Middle East and I am looking for a way out. Confused

(its a long story with lots of sordid details: cheating spouse, dysfunctional inlaws, deceipt and underhandedness...it might make a very interesting movie.)

Anyway, hello to everyone and I look forward to sharing my international political and societal experiences with all of you in the coming months.

Ok, I hope its not taboo to reply to my own thread, but I have bounced around the board for a minute or two and probably should expand my introduction to include a few juicy tidbits.

I am 38 years old, father of two (9 year old boy and 6 year old girl).

I believe we are not alone in the universe (yes, I believe aliens are real)

I believe Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK alone.

I don't believe the US government knew about 9-11 in advance, and for that matter I don't believe the US government knew about Pearl Harbor in advance.

I believe that airplanes crashing into the WTC would cause them to collapse.

I believe a plane hit the Pentagon.

I believe Elvis is dead.

I believe Marilyn Monroe was murdered.

I believe we have been losing our country to liberalism for the past 30 years.

I believe the pendulum is swinging back towards conservative values.

Welcome, Abu...reformed liberals always have a special place at my table.

I am sure that living anywhere in the mideast in these times gives one a very sober perspective on life...shame we can't ship all of America's liberals over there for a stay and a wakeup call. However, I am sure a fair percentage of them would show their true anti-american colors and take up arms with Osama's boys.

I agree with your list of beliefs and you can be assured that a plane did, in fact, hit the Pentagon. I was there just one hour before the attack and my wife was in a meeting in a Rossyln high rise just across from the pentagon and saw everything just seconds after the explosion.

Lib hate knows no bounds so the conjuring of no airplane hitting the Pentagon is just another example of that. However, the ignorant, hate-filled libs overlooked one important fact with their new hate-Bush theory. We DC(hundreds of us) folks saw the Boeing 757 flying just a few hundred feet off the ground making passes over the Capital building as thought it was lost. Plus DC drivers saw the damn thing come in about 200 feet off the ground over busy Rt 395 and slam into the Pentagon.

Strange that the lib hate-amreica media just left out all these glaring facts.
Never fear...libs will not let facts & truth get in the way of their hate.
