Addressed to those, who are interested in situation in post-Soviet space
In Internet I’ve alighted upon a very curious document, related to the future of Turkmenistan. The purport of the document is that USA is not interested in any cooperation with Turkmenistan’s new president, G. Berdymukhammedov. Describing him as “hypocritical, revengeful and spiteful man”, Washington has preferred to put its stakes on Berdymukhammedov’s opponents, including such oppositional politicians as Khramov, Orazov and Khanamov. By the way, since the beginning of this year Turkmenistan has already been visited by such US high officials as US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, E. Feigenbaum, US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, S. Mann, and Acting Coordinator of US Assistance to Eurasia, T. Adams. Put it shortly, USA continues to impose own way of democratic (in terms of Washington) development upon other young countries…
