Americans are increasingly against the war in Iraq. We have no plans for completing our mission there and violence continues. At what point can we realistically call the war a mistake?

For sure it is a mistake. Have they found Osama? No. Haven they found nuclear weapons? No. What did they find? They did nothing over there except killing innocent people which American soldier CLAIMED they are suspicious. Look at those families whom they lost their loved ones, they are living in hell everyday when they see American soldires. If we make those innocent poeple in such a great pain, tell me, is it not a mistake?

What about Sadaam the biggest threat who is on trial, what about the Sunni minority that were abusing the whole nation, what about terrorism that has come down a lot, what about the near future democracy in Iraq and slowly in the Mid East? At least George Bush has scored a B+ here in real life.

Can you explain how Saddam was "the biggest" threat (presumably in the War on Terror)? Not a nice guy, but we have left far worse despots in power - and even assisted them.

Very Interesting how the war on terror in iraq began.

1) 9/11 attack, lets go to war against Iraq because we think they did it.

2) Saddam not responsible for 9/11, but nuclear threat is emminent, we must continue war on terror for our own safety.

3) No nukes, al Quade behind 9 / 11, why are we not going after Osama?

4) we must save poor iraquies from tyrant saddam (we put him there in the first place) and establish democracy in a new country.

5) more fighting and loss of American lives.

6) we established democracy in Iraq, they want us out claiming they can take care of themselves.

7) why are we still here? if other countries are pulling out?

Hmm. look at the origional cause for the war, there was no plot to establish democracy for the poor Iraqies.

Hey, Iran is looking good right now... Nukes... terrorists...

How will it end?

And now we can't pull out of the Middle East, so what will happen?
Will we enter Iran? What will we do with Afghanistan?

This war is going to continue for a long time, and the origianal reasons for entering that war will be very different from those when we end it.

Outright lie! We did NOT go to war with iraq because they did it, 9-11. President Bush made it abundantely before the world WHY we invaded iraq. Before the UN and the entire world Bush charged that repeated violations of Iraq's '91 Cease Fire Agt, and Iraq's constant thwarting of UN WMD inspectors, iraq's repositioning of iranian guard divisions along the Kuwait border and multiple state intel reports(Brtian, France, U.S., etc) showed Iraq had met with al qeada and entered into an agt with al qeada for weapons development(see 9-11 Commission Reprt), and that Iraq was working on Nukes(Clinton Administration claimed the same thing), and that Saddam had become too destablizing for the entire region.
All of this I have already documented with links and sources in the Iraq War conference.

Bill Clinton complained longer and louder than any in the Bush admin about Saddam's nuke program and Clinton even launched air strikes in an effort to take out Saddam's nukes. See my links and direct quotes from the Clinton Admin in the Iraq War conference.

Since I have already documented for you with links and sources the fact the 10th mountain division has been hunting and killing al qeada since two months after 9-11 in Afghanistan/Pakistan, you have no excuse to make such a lying statement that we are not going after Osama, you piece of liberal lying sh*t!!! All the history and facts are against you. And, tell me, dumbass, what happens after we kill Osama...war ends??? You disgusting puke.

Since I have already provided you with the true accurate history showing that Saddam shot his way into power some 30 years ago and that NO western nation had anything to do with Saddam's rise to power, your statement that WE put him there is another provable puke lie of yours!!!

American loses in the Iraq war are the lowest american loses of any post WWII war we've been involved in. Take your Mikey Moore bullsh*t elsewhere.

Another outright lie by a liberal liar!!! The iraqi prime minister was on capitol hill last month giving testimony before the democractically controlled congress asking that they NOT to withdraw american troops. Only the entire figgin media of this nation reported on this. Where was your dumb ass????????????

Quote:

7) why are we still here? if other countries are pulling out?

Because we want to win, asshole!!! YOU and your liberal buddies want to raise the Nancy Pelosi white flag....our troops want to WIN!!!!!!!!!!! One is a coward...guess who...

So what....what f--kin' difference does that make!!! The iraqi people wanted it and voted for it and are now fighting for it...who the hell are you to say they shouldn't enjoy some of the same freedoms you do....you piece of liberal crap!!!

Quote:

Hey, Iran is looking good right now... Nukes... terrorists...

I'm sure that when we start killing them, you and Pelosis will whine and moan for poor misunderstood islamic murders while badmouthing your own country....that's all you libs can do is bad mouth this nation.

Your just too stupid to even breathe on your own......please tell us what the hell oil is coming out of Afghanistan...and please tell us how iraq's 1/20th of oil imports to this nation would, in any possible way, hurt this nation if we didn't get that 1/20th????

here is a realativaly intersesting fact for you. did you know that about 2 years into the war they found an entire airport with several fighter jets on it buried under the sand. it took two years to find that do you think that it is probably going to take a little while longer to find something they really don't want found. like wmds. which i don't even think are there anymore anyway i mean all they had to do what put them in some trucks and take them where we can't go. like iran or pakistan.

Saddam could have been lying about them to fake out his neighbors also. WMDs don't really matter. Saddam had to go and that is what should have been the excuse. Bush made a mistake by defining the mission incorrectly. Hindsite is 20/20 and he should have just made regime change as the reason. Sounds good for Iran and Syria also.

History will show that the Bush Doctrine and our establishment of a democracy in the middle east as one of the greatest accomplishments in this country's history.

ie. Reagan bringing down the wall.

See Reagan's speech:
