Looks like were staying, how come we can't do anything about the bad management of this war? I keep seeing these "hearings" on the war but nothing is happening? Why can't bush be charged with a crime? It is so obvious that he messed up?
Anyway
Clinton gets in peached for doing the nasty and Bush gets away with murder?

I agree! I believe there's too much U.S. money involved, political interests in a US influenced outcome, and corporate interests (think US oil companies and potential oil reserves, VP Chaney's Haliburton, US Defense Contractors' and subcontractors' healthy cash flows, and zillions of DC Lobbyists' paychecks, etc.) counting on the $500 billion +/yr. we're spending officially on this "war" --- outside the official budget, mind you --- to properly "influence" Congress. Remember the old "military industrial complex" from school?
We kicked out the Russians over 5 years ago from Iraq, who had over $8 billion in outstanding Iraqi oil, nuclear, etc. contracts as well as the Chinese, who just moved over to Sudan for oil, read: Darfur. Russian oil traders were making millions from the UN Oil for Food programs, illegally trading Iraqi oil, until we intervened. The French and Germans also had billions in commercial contracts with the Hussain government, which we effectively negated.
This is a true Geopolitical oil move on the US's part to influence the Middle East but no one in the Executive Branch or Congress for that matter is willing to admit it.

How long has it been since WWII?
We still have people stationed in Germany. I think what was said was taken out of context.
