Post subject: Not moderation but appeasement
I don’t agree with you here. You don’t let a wound fester and wait till you develop gangrene . It is better to chop off the arm which carries the malady than allowing it to be the cause of your death. That’s exactly what is happening. We want to appease everyone. Bush goes around mouthing some unintelligible gibberish and thinks he has appeased the voters . He goes around and attacks Iraq because he feels that it will appease his voters. He talks big on Iran and keeps threatening them because he wants to woo voters. This appeasement mindset is the one which creates this festering wound.

Post subject: Only body bags to show for our adventures
Okay then. What do you want? Go and attack Iran, Korea and Libya because we suspect them of developing nuclear weapons and bring back more body bags. If you do things the same way ,you will get the same results. Haven’t we learned from Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq ? The story is the same everywhere. We have not been able to do a whit except create more commotion in these countries. Except for dead soldiers we have nothing to show for our adventures. It’s time we stopped pontificating and being practical. Let’s be sane and do sane things.
