What Do You Understand by Satanism?

Most people when hearing the term Satanism imagine a red devil with a long pointy tail but have you thought what real satanists are?

I've read many things about the Church of Satan, which in fact is not a religion in the proper sense, and it sounds to me as a very human way of thinking. Accepting us as we are and not pretending a divine being deciding our future.

What do you think?

I think it is the most horrible path a person can go on. To worship the very enemy of Christ proves that the lie that evil perpatrates has gone beyond imagination. It is the most awful, regrettable and destructive thing a person can ever do.

aside from the obvious religious problems, Satanists are usually out for the pleasure of the moment, irregardless of who they hurt or affect in a negative way.

even Donald Trump looks at the long-term ramifications of his actions most of the time... Satanists don't tend to do well in society because they live for the moment, which doesn't work for a lifetime.

I agree with reviewers point of view regarding Satanism.

Well, it's true that by using the term Satanism that it's intended to be inflammatory. However, many people imagine real devil-worshippers and sacrifices, and that's not true.

If you're Satanist, you're still christian. Is that proof that being christan doesn't mean you have morals?

Im am Orthodox ( Earliest Christian Church ) and the Church of Satan is merely a way of living. They're main doctorine is to give in to desires, to feel no pity for others, to take any action because the responsibilty for those actions aren't going to haunt them.
In a sence to live only for yourself and your pleasures, in short the opposite of everything in Christianity.

The only Satan worshipping Satanists are individuals or small groups of people who get together and do wierd ceremonies. The Church of Satan is not a religion and it does not worship Satan.
